Tetra repeater systems to enhance radio coverage

of LUXEMBOURG public safety networks RENITA

SEE Telecom designs and manufactures Tetra repeater systems to enhance radio coverage of LUXEMBOURG national public safety networks RENITA.

RENITA Tetra Repeater

SEE Telecom designs and manufactures TETRA RENITA repeater systems
(BDA – Bi-Directional Amplifiers):
  • To enhance the radio coverage of Luxembourg national public safety network RENITA in major infrastructures like shopping centers, exhibition  halls, convention centers, hospitals, confined areas such as service corridors, tunnels, underground car parks.

The Tetra RENITA repeater has 2 RF connectors, one connected to the antenna pointing toward the base station and 1 connected to the antennas or radiating cable in tunnel or building.

Monitoring and control can be done via SNMP, SCADA, via Ethernet using a web browser installed on a PC which gives access to the GUI, or remotely via an optional LTE modem which allows accessing the repeaters GUI from everywhere, using the 4G network. This interface contains an easy configuration page.

The MC-DIRRAC also has a sum alarm output that can be connected to an external alarm system.

Built-in waterproof wall-mounted rack, the repeater can be installed in the harshest environment, indoors or outdoors.
The RENITA Tetra repeater can be ordered with different powers (low, medium, and high), different power supply voltages, with or without battery backup, and with LTE modem.

Because each installation is unique, SEE Telecom proposes a complete portfolio of solutions with off-air and optical repeaters, advanced technologies as band selective, channel selective, AGC per time slot, squelch, frequency shifting, WDM, remote monitoring HTTP-SNMP.

The Tetra RENITA repeater is fully homologated to be used on the Luxembourg network.

Renita Tetra repeaters are available in optical-to-RF (OMU) and RF-RF (off-air repeater) formats.

OMU consists of a Master station distributing the RF signals to remote units (ORU) with optical transmitters and optical receivers, by optical fibers. These Optical Remote Units (ORU’s) transform the optical signal into RF, amplify it, and then deliver it to the infrastructure at the appropriate power level.

The off-air repeater has two RF connectors, one connected to the antenna pointing toward the base station, and the second one is connected to the antenna or radiating cable in the infrastructure itself.
