SEE Telecom provided the radio coverage of Tesalia tunnel in collaboration with Comsa Industrial.
Tesalia tunnel is located on the Pacific Connection Highway 3 in Caldas (Colombia) which is part of a huge project to improve the roads and the connectivity (146 kilometers along three departments).
The radiocommunication system is designed to perform the radio coverage of the tunnel which has two tubes and a length of 3.492 m.
The system is built for the retransmission of:
- 4 FM carriers with emergency break-in feature enabling transmission of an emergency messages in both road traffic tunnels tube.
- 2 VHF duplex channels
- 1 VHF channel, one local base station VHF DMR duplex service channel
- 2 UHF duplex carriers
