DAB Repeater
SEE Telecom’s DAB off-air repeater is used to enhance DAB radio coverage in confined areas such as tunnels, underground parkings, mines, galleries or specific sites.
- To enhance the radio coverage of commercial radio channels;
- To broadcast some specific information, emrgency messages or advertisement.
The repeater can process up to 8 DAB/DAB+ ensembles, all independently, both in frequency and in power, through AGC function and digital filters. Built-in waterproof wall-mounted rack, the DAB repeater can be installed in the harshest environment, indoors and outdoors.
The repeater has two RF connectors: one for the DAB antenna, pointing towards the respective DAB emitting stations, and the second is connected to the antenna or radiating cable in the infrastructure.
Monitoring and control can be done locally using a Web browser, or remotely via SNMP directly connected to a SCADA (SNMP manager).
